In accordance with Decision No. 056/24 (April 18, 2024) , the Cambodian Ministry of Labor established an Evaluation and Selection Committee tasked with identifying factories and enterprises that have successfully transformed into Safe Communities. The evaluation was conducted based on eight fundamental criteria ：

• 1. Compliance with labor conditions
• 2. Compliance regarding child labor
• 3. Compliance with occupational relations
• 4. Compliance with occupational safety and health conditions
• 5. Compliance with the social security system
• 6. Compliance regarding the employment of persons with disabilities
• 7. Compliance with the implementation of productivity enhancement programs
• 8. Compliance with the implementation of social responsibility programs

Following the review by a nine-member committee of government, capital, and labor representatives,36 factories and enterprises nationwide were awarded the “One Enterprise, One Harmonious Community Award” medal. Among these recognized organizations was the Cambodia I-Cheng Factory , representing the shoemaking industry.

Award-winning enterprises are granted a three-year exemption from annual labor inspections by the Ministry of Labor. The medals were personally presented by Prime Minister Hun Manet, underscoring the significance of this national recognition.
